Peterborough Yacht Club

Peterborough Yacht Club offers membership to people who can demonstrate an interest in boating from beginers to experienced mariners, some of our members are ex Royal and Merchant Navy others have considerable offshore sailing experience some have never owned a boat, so novices can glean a tremendous wealth of knowledge with hands on experience. Membership categories are Single or Joint Full including children up to 18.

PYC is run by the members with purely voluntary work so all members put in a minimum of 10 hours each year with many members putting in more, there are many different tasks to done, from manual work, skilled trades, professional such as surveys, legal work and admin in fact all sorts of jobs that need doing especially on work party days and of course, working behind the bar.
